Most tower defense games ask you to protect a kingdom. Cursed Treasure 2 flips that around: you are the dark overlord, and the heroes marching down the path want to steal the magic gems you have hidden away. Your job is to make sure none of them escape with the loot.

You defend with three kinds of buildings, orc dens, undead crypts and demon temples, each with its own strengths. Spells such as terror and meteor help in emergencies, and you can speed waves up when the defense is holding. Smart tower placement and upgrades are the key to surviving as the waves grow.

How to play Cursed Treasure 2

• Mouse - build towers, upgrade them and cast spells
• 1, 2, 3 - build a den, crypt or temple
• W - terror spell, E - meteor
• Hold Space - triple speed; Enter, Z, X or T - next wave

Playing Cursed Treasure 2 on a computer

Click Play now and then the PLAY prompt from the distributor; a short ad is possible. The mouse builds, upgrades and casts spells. Hotkeys speed things up: 1, 2 and 3 build a den, crypt or temple, W casts terror and E calls down a meteor. Hold Space for triple speed, and press Enter, Z, X or T to send the next wave early once your defenses look solid.

Playing Cursed Treasure 2 on a phone or tablet

This tower defense game leans on the mouse plus a row of hotkeys for buildings, spells, fast-forward and early waves. Touch support has not been confirmed, so treat it as a computer game. Guard your gems from a desktop, laptop or Chromebook, where the hotkeys save a lot of clicking. Phone players should stick to titles with a "Desktop and mobile" tag.
