About Dead Zed
Zombie shooting meets survival management in Dead Zed. Hordes of the undead close in on your safehouse, and you pick them off with whatever guns you have, reloading and switching weapons as the pressure builds.
Between fights, the group you have gathered needs direction. Survivors can head out on scavenging runs to find more people and better guns, or stay behind to guard and patch up the shelter. Nobody is interchangeable, since everyone has different strengths, and sending a capable fighter along on every trip makes it far more likely the team returns in one piece.
How to play Dead Zed
- Mouse - aim and shoot
- R - reload, 1 and 2 - switch weapons
- F - change fire mode
- M - mute sound

Start the defense by pressing Play now, then the PLAY button from the distributor; sometimes an ad runs first. Aim and shoot with the mouse, reload with R, switch guns with 1 and 2, change fire mode with F and mute with M. Reload in the gaps between zombies rather than mid-rush. When sending survivors out scavenging, include at least one with high fight skill to improve the whole party's odds.

Dead Zed relies on a mouse for aiming plus keyboard keys for reloading, weapon swaps and fire modes. That combination is why it is built for a computer, and it is listed as not mobile-ready.
