About Bowman
Two archers, one field and a lot of careful aiming make up Bowman. You stand on one side with a bow, your opponent stands on the other, and the two of you trade arrows until someone goes down.
The challenge is judging each shot. Arrows travel in an arc, so you have to account for distance and angle, then adjust after every miss. Rounds are short and the rules are easy to grasp, which makes it a good pick when you only have a few minutes to play.
How to play Bowman
- Mouse - aim the bow
- Click or tap - shoot an arrow
Playing Bowman on a computer
Click Play now and PLAY to start the duel; there may be a brief ad first. Aim the bow with the mouse and click to loose an arrow. Shots travel in an arc, so both distance and angle matter. If an arrow falls short, nudge the angle up a little instead of changing everything at once; small corrections between turns are how you zero in on the other archer.
Playing Bowman on a phone or tablet
Tapping is a listed way to shoot, so Bowman can be played by touch in the full-screen phone view. Aim and fire with your finger, then study where each arrow lands so the next one flies truer. Landscape gives a wider look at the field between the two archers. The X at the top right closes the game whenever you want.
Tips and tricks
- Use each miss as a guide and change your angle a little at a time.
- Aim a bit higher at long range, since arrows drop as they fly.
