About Bike Mania
Bike Mania was one of the tough little physics games that kept people hooked during the Flash years, and this HTML5 version brings it back for modern browsers. Each course is an obstacle run, and the goal is simple to state: get to the end without your rider falling off.
Speed is rarely the answer. Most of the challenge comes from weight control, leaning back to climb, shifting forward to land and feathering the throttle so the bike does not tip over. Crashes are frequent and restarts are instant, which makes it very hard to stop after a single attempt.
How to play Bike Mania
- Up arrow - accelerate
- Down arrow - brake
- Left and right arrows - lean back and forward
Playing Bike Mania on a computer
Click Play now and then PLAY to reach the first course, sitting through an ad if one appears. Up gives throttle, down brakes, and the left and right arrows lean the rider back and forward. Gentle throttle beats full speed on most courses: lean back while climbing, lean forward as you land and ease off before steep drops so your rider stays on the bike all the way to the finish.
Playing Bike Mania on a phone or tablet
Bike Mania is an arrow-key physics game where balance comes from holding throttle and lean together with fine timing. It has no confirmed touch controls and is marked as desktop only, so ride it on a computer or Chromebook keyboard. For phone sessions, Bike Mania 4 Micro Office and other titles labeled "Desktop and mobile" fit better.
On a phone right now? Try Coreball, Bottle Jump 3D and Drift Boss - they are built for touch screens.
Tips and tricks
- Take obstacles slowly at first; too much momentum causes most crashes.
- Lean back on climbs and forward just before you land.
- Memorize each course, since the same tricky spot appears on every attempt.
