Backrooms drops you into a maze of empty rooms that seems to go on forever, and the only real goal is to find a way out. Each level has its own layout and its own dangers, and you will need to locate keys, repair circuits and open escape routes to move on.

Something is moving in the dark, so staying quiet, hiding and running when needed are all part of surviving. You can explore alone or join friends online, where voice chat only reaches players standing near you.

Playing Backrooms on a computer

Backrooms uses keyboard and mouse: walk through the halls with the keys and turn the camera with the mouse. Press Play now, let any short ad finish, choose PLAY, and click into the game so it captures your input; it lists its exact keys there. Track down keys and broken circuits to open each exit. If you team up, voice chat only carries to nearby players, so stay together.
