Drop Kick World Champs

About Drop Kick World Champs

Drop Kick World Champs is a quick soccer skill game built around the volley. You choose a nation, step into a World Cup competition and try to lead your squad all the way to the trophy.

Positioning is half the battle. Move your player into place, wait until the ball drops close enough, then strike it. Kicking before the ball is in range wastes the chance, so patience pays. The game comes from FlashFooty, a developer of simple browser soccer games, and it plays equally well with a mouse or by tapping the left and right sides of a touchscreen.

How to play Drop Kick World Champs

• Mouse - move your player left and right
• Mobile - press the left or right side of the screen to move
• Click or tap - kick once the ball is close

Playing Drop Kick World Champs on a computer

Pick a nation for the World Cup once you have clicked Play now and the PLAY button on the licensed start screen (an ad may play first). Slide your player left and right by moving the mouse, and click to kick once the ball drops close. Patience wins here: kicking too early sends the ball off target, so let it fall into range before you strike.

Playing Drop Kick World Champs on a phone or tablet

On phones and tablets, press the left or right side of the screen to move your player, then tap anywhere to kick. Wait for the ball to drop close before tapping, because early kicks miss. Landscape gives the field more width and makes the two sides easier to hit. The X button up top on the right closes the game.

Tips and tricks

• Get into position early so you are not rushing when the ball arrives.
• Wait for the ball to drop within reach before you kick.
• Stay patient, because a clean volley beats a hurried one.
