About Drunken Boxing
Two floppy, unsteady fighters share the ring in Drunken Boxing, and physics handles most of the comedy. Each boxer sways and stumbles around, so landing a clean punch while keeping your own fighter upright is harder than it looks.
Punches come out fast, but an energy bar limits how many you can throw in a row, so nonstop swinging leaves you open. Matches are played to five points, and you can face the computer or a friend on the same device. On phones, the left and right halves of the screen act as the controls, which makes it easy to pass around.
How to play Drunken Boxing
- Player 1: arrow keys
- Player 2: W, A, S, D
- Touch screens: left and right sides of the screen
Playing Drunken Boxing on a computer
Two fighters enter the ring once you click Play now and PLAY, with a short ad possible in between. Player one fights with the arrow keys and player two with W, A, S and D. Boxers sway on wobbly physics, and punches drain an energy bar, so throw a few at a time and let the bar recover instead of swinging nonstop.
Playing Drunken Boxing on a phone or tablet
Touch screens are supported, with the left and right sides of the screen standing in for the keys. Try short taps on each side to learn how your boxer leans and punches, and pace yourself so the energy bar does not run dry. Landscape gives both sides enough room. Tap X, top right, to leave.
Tips and tricks
- Watch your energy bar and stop punching before it runs dry.
- Let the other boxer tire themselves out, then strike.
- Short bursts of punches work better than constant swinging.
