About Drunken Boxing: Ultimate
Nobody can stand up straight in Drunken Boxing: Ultimate. Both boxers sway and stumble around the ring, so simply getting close enough to land a punch takes timing, and a clean hit can send an opponent wobbling backward.
Compared with earlier entries, this edition gives the arenas more depth, tightens up the physics and adds a special hit that charges as you fight. Stamina is the hidden opponent: swing without pause and your boxer runs dry, then needs a while before fighting at full strength again. Two players share one keyboard, which makes it a natural pick for quick matches with a friend.
How to play Drunken Boxing: Ultimate
- Player 1: Up and Down arrows - move, Left and Right arrows - punch, L - special
- Player 2: W and S - move, A and D - punch, G - special
Playing Drunken Boxing: Ultimate on a computer
Player one moves with up and down, punches with left and right and uses L for the special hit. Player two moves with W and S, punches with A and D and uses G for the special. Let the special charge and save it for when your opponent is already wobbling. A bout starts after Play now, the next PLAY button and any short ad.
Playing Drunken Boxing: Ultimate on a phone or tablet
Unlike the original Drunken Boxing, Ultimate is listed as not mobile-ready. Each boxer needs movement keys, two punches and a special, and two players share one keyboard, so this is a computer game. Set up a bout on a laptop, desktop or Chromebook. For a phone, the first Drunken Boxing and other "Desktop and mobile" games support touch.
On a phone right now? Try Basket Random, Boxing Random and Soccer Random - they are built for touch screens.
Tips and tricks
- Wait for your opponent to lean in before you swing.
- Do not throw punches nonstop, or your energy will run out.
- Save the special hit until you are at the right distance.
