Melee combat gets more attention in Wilds.io than in most browser games. Fights are about timing rather than button mashing: you can attack, kick, block and roll, and reading what your opponent is about to do is how you come out on top.

Combat in Wilds.io leans on the mouse: left click attacks, right click kicks and holding right click makes you run. WASD moves you, scrolling down blocks and scrolling up rolls. Jump into the arena through Play now and PLAY, then watch your opponent's swing before committing. Blocking a heavy attack and countering is safer than trading blows, and the gold you earn buys better gear.
Playing Wilds.io on a phone or tablet
Wilds.io maps combat onto the mouse wheel and both buttons, with blocking and rolling on scroll and running on a held right click, all while WASD moves you. A touch screen cannot reproduce that, and this release offers no touch alternative. Play on a computer or Chromebook with a mouse. Phone-friendly games are labeled "Desktop and mobile".
