About Soccer Random
Soccer Random squeezes a whole soccer match into one key per player. Your floppy athletes jump and kick when you press it, and the physics take care of the rest, so the ball rarely goes exactly where you planned.
The setup can change completely as the match goes on. You might suddenly be playing on ice or on a beach, with a different ball, new players or different goal posts. Face the computer or invite a friend to share the keyboard, and score five times to take the win.
How to play Soccer Random
- W - player one
- Up arrow - player two
- Touch controls on mobile devices
Playing Soccer Random on a computer
Two players share one keyboard: W controls player one and the up arrow controls player two. Each press makes your floppy athletes jump and kick. Press Play now and then the distributor's PLAY button to kick off. Conditions can switch mid-match, from ice to a beach, so expect the ball to behave differently and time your jumps again once the field changes.
Playing Soccer Random on a phone or tablet
Soccer Random has touch controls, so phones and tablets are fine. Tap the screen to jump and kick, the same action as W on a keyboard. Holding the phone sideways tends to fit the field better. Because the physics are loose, tap when the ball is close to your players; a jump that comes too early can leave it rolling right past you.
Tips and tricks
- Tap rather than hold so your players stay on their feet.
- Kick when the ball is in front of you, not above you.
- Expect odd bounces when the field turns icy.
