About Draw Joust
Draw Joust lets you build your own war machine with a single line. Before each fight you sketch the shape of your vehicle, and that drawing has a big say in how it holds up when it collides with the opponent.
Enemies vary from battle to battle, and so do the weapons you can bring, so the design that won the last round might not work the next time. Experimenting with tall, flat or oddly angled shapes is half the fun, and finding a design that keeps beating the competition is the other half.
How to play Draw Joust
- Click and drag - draw on desktop
- Slide your finger - draw on a touchscreen
Playing Draw Joust on a computer
Before each fight, click and drag to sketch the body of your vehicle. The game starts after you press Play now and then its PLAY button, sometimes following a short ad. The outline you draw decides a lot about how the machine survives each collision, and opponents and weapons vary from battle to battle. If one design keeps losing, try a noticeably different shape instead of repeating the same doodle.
Playing Draw Joust on a phone or tablet
Drawing is the core control, so Draw Joust handles a touchscreen well. Slide your finger to sketch your vehicle before each battle. A finger is less precise than a mouse, so draw slowly and keep it to one smooth line. Every opponent and weapon set is different, so experiment with new shapes whenever a favorite stops working.
Tips and tricks
- Try simple, sturdy shapes before complicated ones.
- Change your design when an enemy brings a different weapon.
