About Vex 9
The long-running stickman series returns with Vex 9, a fresh set of Acts full of traps, bombs and sudden hazards. Each stage asks you to run, jump, crouch and slide through tight obstacle courses where a moment of hesitation can send you back to try again.
The big addition is a jetpack, which lets Vex take to the air for the first time and opens up new kinds of courses. Once the main Acts are done, Challenge Mode serves up tougher runs for anyone who wants to test their reflexes further. It works with a keyboard or with on-screen buttons on a phone.
How to play Vex 9
- Arrow keys or WASD - run, jump and crouch
- Touch - on-screen buttons to run, jump, slide and fly with the jetpack
Playing Vex 9 on a computer
Run, jump and crouch with the arrow keys or WASD. From the menu that follows Play now, pick an Act and start working through its traps and bombs. The jetpack is new in this entry, so learn how it handles in the early stages. Keeping your momentum is usually safer than stopping, so slide under low hazards rather than waiting in front of them.
Playing Vex 9 on a phone or tablet
Vex 9 adds touch buttons on phones: tap them to run, jump, slide and fly with the new jetpack. Turn the phone sideways so the buttons sit under your thumbs without covering the traps. Rest one thumb on the movement buttons and the other on jump, since many sections need both at once.
Tips and tricks
- Pause at the start of a new section and watch how the traps move before committing.
- Slide under low obstacles to keep your speed instead of stopping.
- Use Challenge Mode to sharpen precise jumps once the Acts are cleared.
