About Radical Rappelling
Two daredevils, Rip and Roxy, plunge down the side of a mountain on a rope in Radical Rappelling. You do not steer so much as bounce: each tap pushes your climber over to the facing wall of rock, and the trick is choosing the right moment so you miss whatever is waiting below.
Along the way you will find launch pads that fling you across the gap, rainbow rides and obstacles you can rocket past. Coins pay for new gear, and missions give you specific goals to chase on each run, which keeps the game fresh long after you learn the basics.
How to play Radical Rappelling
- Tap or click - leap across to the other cliff
- Timing - jump early or late to slip past obstacles
Playing Radical Rappelling on a computer
One input runs the whole descent. Click to swing Rip or Roxy across to the opposite cliff face, and time each click so you slip past the hazard coming up. Play now, followed by the game's PLAY screen, gets you on the rope. Look a little farther down the mountain than feels natural, because late reactions are what usually end a run.
Playing Radical Rappelling on a phone or tablet
Radical Rappelling is a natural fit for phones. Tap anywhere to leap to the facing cliff, then tap again to swing back, timing each jump around the obstacles below. Holding the phone upright tends to suit the long vertical drop. Keep your tapping thumb hovering just above the glass so each jump fires the instant you need it.
Tips and tricks
- Watch the rock face below your climber to spot hazards early.
- Check your missions before a run so you know what to aim for.
- Do not chase every coin; staying alive keeps the run going.
