About Friday Night Funkin': Heartbreak Havoc [Vs. Sky: REDUX]
Sky, the lovestruck fan character from bbpanzu's original Vs. Sky mod, returns in this REDUX project after years away from the FNF scene. Led by co-directors Dra9on5 and Alexander0110_, Heartbreak Havoc rebuilds the classic mod for the modern version of Friday Night Funkin', with a full week of three remade songs plus a Pico mix.
The remake puts a lot into presentation. Fully animated cutscenes set up the story, and events fire in the middle of songs to keep the stage changing as you play. Underneath, it is still classic FNF rhythm play: hit the arrows in time and outlast a very jealous opponent.
How to play Friday Night Funkin': Heartbreak Havoc [Vs. Sky: REDUX]

Sky's REDUX week is played entirely on the keyboard. After pressing Play now, click once inside the game window, then use Enter to move through the menus and start a song. Hit each note with the arrow keys or WASD as it reaches its target, whichever hand position feels natural. The week has three remade songs plus a Pico mix, so learn the charts in order before chasing clean scores.
Playing Friday Night Funkin': Heartbreak Havoc [Vs. Sky: REDUX] on a phone or tablet
Heartbreak Havoc expects a physical keyboard. Its charts stack notes on two or three lanes at once and ask you to hold arrows through long sustain notes, and this remake only listens for key presses. Open it on a laptop or Chromebook instead. For phone sessions, browse the games tagged "Desktop and mobile", which are the touch-friendly ones.
On a phone right now? Try Magic Tiles 3 - they are built for touch screens.
Tips and tricks
- Expect mid-song events and keep your eyes on the note lane when the stage changes.
